Housing

Local Housing

There are many housing options close to campus. Your choices include apartment buildings, rooms in private homes, short-term rentals, furnished rooms, townhouses, and houses.

MEI can help you find housing but cannot arrange housing for you. You are responsible for making your own arrangements. The Off-Campus Housing Services at UMD offers resources and a housing database to help students find housing.

In summer, on-campus housing may be available.  The Department of Resident Life’s Summer Housing page has more details about this option.
