English For Teaching Seminar Schedule
The following shows a representative schedule of the covered topics and activities during the two week seminar. Specific topics may be added as time allows and participants’ needs suggest.
The seminar is organized along two main tracks: one addressing the methods and practices of teaching in the English academic context (Pedagogy), the second addressing effective presentations in English, considering not only pronunciation but also word choice and grammar (Language). The language track considers elements shared by all varieties of English, although differences between American and British English are addressed.
Also included in the seminar are various cultural activities, which are not shown below. The schedule for these varies year-to-year and will be given to participants on the first day of the seminar.
